Catherine Mary O'Donnell

Welcome!

I’m a 4th year PhD candidate in Economics at Boston University. My research interests are in public finance, political economy and economic history. Currently, I work on projects studying the migration responses to fiscal policy, the geography of tax morale, and the determinants of fiscal capacity in state and local governments.

Prior to the PhD, I worked as a Research Associate at the Philadelphia Federal Reserve. As a PhD student, I'ved work as an intern at the Massachusetts State Treasury. I graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2018 with BA in Economics.
